General Description
Foamseal® Hurricane Adhesive provides an efficient method of
bonding roof sheathing to truss and rafters. Foamseal®
Hurricane Adhesive is like super strength glue for attaching your
roof to your house.
Testing at Clemson University (link to test document) shows that
when Foamseal® is applied to the sheathing and roof structure
system, roofs can be up to four times more resistant to
hurricane force winds than with nails alone!
Foamseal® is a moisture sealing foamed polyurethane sheathing
adhesive. The adhesive can be applied to new and existing homes
and commercial buildings. Sprayed as a liquid, Foamseal® quickly
hardens into a water-tight seal that strengthens the structural
integrity of your building. Where nails fail to keep roofs
intact, Foamseal® helps your roof stay in place, increasing
up-life resistance.

Do You Know That...
Why invest in Foamseal®?
Roof failure is the most common cause of wind and water damage
in hurricanes and other violent storms. Between 50 and 70% of
hurricane induced losses are caused by roof failures and water
intrusion through the roof after the roof covering (shingle or
tile) fails. Our homes and commercial buildings face the threat
of destruction from hurricanes every year. The potential for
severe structural damage increases due to aging with each
passing year. In the past, roofs put together with nails alone
have failed to withstand severe weather. The cause for this is
illustrated below:
Frequently Asked Questions
What will it cost?
Foamseal costs begins at $1.70 per square foot for the
hurricane grade installation. It may also be used as
insulation, which will cost additional to blow the product
in under the entire roof.
How many square feet do I have?
The square foot of your roof is more than your "under
air" due to the extension over the walls and the pitch of
the roof. We are happy to show all measurements so that you
understand how the square footage is obtained.
Can I install it myself?
NO, this product may only be applied by a certified
technician.
What if there is a section you can’t get to?
The hose will spray 18 feet, so there is a good chance
that we can get to most spaces. However, if we cannot, you
will certainly not be charged for those areas.
Do my animals or myself need to leave the house when it is
being done?
Absolutely not. Foamseal is completely non-toxic is all
stages.
